Playing Games
Scrabble Letters were popular were crafts. In the 80's I wore a scrabble letter tile, hot glued on a pin, on my winter coat. Groovy, right? More recently, people spelled their last names or messages with Scrabble tiles and lined them up on the wooden scrabble piece holders. Cute, and a bit Kitsch. The new thing in re-purposing games is to use letter dice and cards from games. Plus, if the game pieces are vintage, that's even better!

Flashcards
At Lola's, we love flashcards with beautiful artwork. Hang a grouping of frames with flashcards of your child's first initial your the initial of your last name. These make great new baby or wedding gifts. Another option for using flashcards is to frame the entire name or a saying (love, read, eat, etc).
